4.2.6 POWER
MANAGEMENT
SETUP
The Power Management Setup allows you to configure you system to most
effectively save energy while operating in a manner consistent with your own style
of computer use.
Power Management
This category allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving and is
directly related to the following modes:
1.
Doze Mode
2.
Standby Mode
3.
HDD Power Down
There are four selections for Power Management, three of which have fixed mode
settings.
Disable (default) No power management. Disables all four modes
Min. Saving
Minimum power management. Doze Mode = 16 Sec. Standby
Mode = 60 Min., and HDD Power Down = 60 Min.
Max. Saving
Maximum power management --
ONLY AVAILABLE FOR SL
CPU’s
. Doze Mode = 4 Sec., Standby Mode = 1 Min., and
HDD Power Down = 1 Min.
User Define
Allows you to set each mode individually. When not
disabled, Doze Mode which ranges from 1 Sec. to 16 Sec.,
Standby Mode which ranges from 1 Min. to 60 Min. for HDD
Power Down which ranges from 1 Min. to 60 Min. and
Disabled.
