Throttle valve

The electronic throttle valve controls the air supply to the engine using an integrated

electric motor.

Electronic throttle valve



Redundant design through the use of two potentiometers

Adjusting the throttle valve

There is no mechanical connection between the throttle valve and gas pedal. The

electrical signal from the gas pedal is converted into an opening angle by an electrical

servo motor in the throttle valve.

The Start button is blocked for 3 seconds after the

ignition is switched on to prevent interference with

the throttle valve calibration.

The throttle valve does not need to be adjusted. After the ignition is switched on, the throttle

valve opens and closes automatically and in this way determines its end points.

Use of restrictors

The throttle valve projects beyond the housing when

fully open.
