Stowing objects
WARNING
Unsecured or incorrectly
positioned objects
An unsecured or incorrectly positioned load can slide
out of place and endanger the vehicle occupants
during braking, extreme acceleration, changes of di-
rection, or in an accident.
e
Do not transport items of luggage or objects un-
secured in the vehicle interior.
e
Do not transport heavy objects in open storage
compartments.
e
Always keep lockable storage compartments
closed while driving.
e
Do not exceed the maximum gross weight and
the axle load.
e
Adapt the tire pressure to the load. Update the
setting for Tire Pressure Monitoring System
when changing the tire pressure.
WARNING
Objects in the center
console
If the storage compartment or cup holder is not in-
serted in the center console, objects can obstruct or
actuate the parking brake button. This may result in
inadvertent braking.
e
Always use the provided storage compartment
to store objects in the center console.
e
Only use cup holders for their intended purpose
of storing drinks.
e
Never store objects in the cup holder.
e
Never operate the vehicle without the cup holder
or storage compartment inserted.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to the cargo net.
e
Do not place heavy and bulky objects in the car-
go net.
NOTICE
There is a risk of damage when opening the conver-
tible top/roof system if any objects are located in the
area behind the rear seats.
e
Remove any objects from the area behind the
rear seats when opening the convertible top/roof
system.
Depending on its equipment, the vehicle has the
following storage options:
– 2 cup holders
– Glove compartment
– Door storage compartments with bottle rack
– Storage net in the passenger’s footwell
– Storage compartment in the center console
– Storage compartment in the armrest
– Parcel shelf behind the rear seats

Pull the handle.
The glove compartment opens automatically.
Closing the glove compartment

Close the cover by pressing on it.
The glove compartment can be locked and unlocked
using the emergency key.
