b. Place long carrier A in the front and short
carrier B in the rear on the rotary holders G
and, at the same time, adapt to the vehicle
width using the moveable carrier supports.
Make sure that the carriers are mounted in
accordance with the stickers on the under-
side of the carriers.
c. Tighten the screws on the underside of the
carriers slightly.

d. Remove the carriers and tighten the screws
on the underside of the carriers by hand using
the short side of the torque wrench.
e. Attach the handle of the torque wrench.
5. Place the carriers on rotary holders G (Fig. 174).

NOTICE
Risk of damage to the seals through pinching be-
tween roof and supports.

Insert seals F in the supports.
6. Screw in all 8 fastening screws on the carriers
using the torque wrench until flush with the sur-
face. Then tighten all 8 screws until the arrow
markings on the torque wrench are exactly
aligned.
