1.6. HYDROMASSAGE
Water massage involves pressure to specific muscles exerted by a stream of water or water and air. Water
or water and air under high pressure get out of regulated jets and hit the surface of the body. Water used
during the massage cleans, reinforces and firms the skin. Whirlpool bath is recommended for people with, for
instance, spine disorders, rheumatic and muscle pain, respiratory tract disorders or gynaecological issues.
The water massage (hydromassage) system is composed from the following elements:
- a set of 48 water and air jets that lead water or a mixture of water and air with the right speed to the bathtub
water space,
- whirlpool hydromassage pumps that force the circulation of water,
- 4 air flow regulators to the hydromassage jets installed at the edge of the bathtub, used to regulate massage
intensity,
- water aspirators.
Water massage power regulation takes place using aeration regulators present at the edge of the bathtub by
adding air to the water stream coming from the jets. The more air is added, the stronger the stream. Accurate
regulation of the water massage power can also be made using jets, which is described in detail in point 1.2.
Increasing the intensity of water massage takes place by rotating the knobs of
regulators to the right.
Decreasing the intensity of water massage takes place by rotating the knobs of
regulators to the left
Each of the four regulators is responsible for controlling another section of jets.
