The display also shows: the unit name (

Test screen is displayed after the battery is installed. For PM2012MB testing is
performed when the instrument is turned on.
To extend the battery lifetime, display becomes dark in about 20 sec. To activate it
press any control button (refer to Figure 3.2).
After the completed tests, the Radiation Detector module starts measurements, but the CWA
module is still not working.
To operate with the CWA module three control marks on the rotating head (2) (Figure 2.1) are
used:

calibration mode
CWA detection mode

To change the operating mode of the CWA module turn the rotating head
in the direction
shown by the arrow
to match the respective mark on the head and the
∆
mark on the unit case.
The details of the CWA module operation are discussed in the section 4.4.
To turn the instrument off press and hold any control button (Figure 3.2) during 3 seconds.
When the unit is turned off, do not switch on the CWA module (or switch it off if
operated), as the working micropump will discharge the battery.
