3.5 Opening Videos from a Different Folder or Drive
To open saved videos from a location other than the SD card, for example videos you
may have saved to your hard drive, select the folder icon below the playback screen
in the viewer. A window will then open where you can browse to the required folder.
3.6 System Settings and Configuration
Select the ‘Set Up’ icon in the Viewer to open the Setup window. The window will have 5
tabs at the top; System, Event, User Settings, Removable Disk and Version. Follow through
the explanations below to ensure the recordings are set to your requirements.
3.6.1 System
Use this screen to set up preferences, including the quality of recordings.
Camera Settings
• Resolution:
Select either 720P or HVGAW.
We strongly recommend selecting 720P for
high definition quality, in order to secure
prosecution quality evidence.
• Camera:
Here you set the frame rate
(fps – frames per second) recorded by the
camera during Normal driving, and for a
specified ‘Event’. ‘Events’ are explained in
3.6.2, but typically the user will want either
an equal or higher frame rate for an ‘Event’
