External temperature sensors
The controller cooperates only with a CT6-P
type weather sensor. Sensor should be fixed
to a coldest wall in the building. Usually it is
a north wall under the roof. Sensor should
not be subjected to direct solar radiation nor
rain. Sensor should be fixed on a minimum
height of 2 m above the ground and in a
distance from windows, chimneys and other
heat sources which could interrupt the
temperature measurement (at least 1,5m).
Use a connecting cable with a cross section
of at least 0,5 mm
2
and length of 25 m.
Polarity of wires is not important. Fix the
sensor to the wall with the use of screws.
Holes containing fixing screws can be
accessed by unscrewing a sensor cover.
Connecting the CT6-P external temperature sensor.
10.4
Connecting a heat source
Make electrical connections between the
controller output module and heat source,
e.g. gas boiler. Use a terminal (S-B). Boiler
contact can be potential-free or can be
energized with voltage not exceeding 230V~.
Caution: risk of electric shock
caused by current from a heat
source. Disconnect the controller
and heat source electrical supply
and make sure there is no
dangerous voltage on terminals.
Protect
yourself
against
incidental generation of supply
voltage!
10.5
Connecting pumps
Electrically connect the heating circuit pumps
to the controller according to the electric
scheme.
10.6
Connecting servos
Electrical servo is installed only when there is
an adjustable heating circuit “H2 circuit” or
“H3 circuit”. The controller cooperates only
with servos of valves equipped with limit
switches. Using other switches is forbidden.
Used servos must be characterized with a full
revolution time of 90 to 255s.
Connecting a servo on example of H2
CIRCUIT:
disconnect electrical supply,
connect the H2-S circuit temperature
sensor,
connect electrical cables of the adjustable
heating circuit pump,
make electrical connections with the
controller and documentation of the valve
servo,
read valve full opening time from a servo
housing, e.g. 140s. It is usually located
on a servo nameplate and within a range
of 90 – 180s.
connect electrical supply and activate the
controller. Enter read time to:
menu
service settings
H2 CIRCUIT
settings
valve opening time
switch to controller manual control:
menu
service settings
Manual
control
and activate “H2 circuit pump” = ON.
verify if all electrical cables influencing a
direction of closing and opening of the
valve. Switch to manual control:
menu
service settings
Manual
control
and open valve “H2 circuit servo ON” =
ON. In case of raising temperature of the
pipe located after the circuit pump,
electrical connection of the servo can be
deemed as correct. In case of dropping
temperature, disconnect electrical supply
of the controller and exchange wire on
terminal no 6 with a wire on terminal no.
