PlexWriter Drive Features and Controls
Before proceeding, become familiar with the controls and features of your
PlexWriter drive. Match the parts of your drive to the illustrations below.
Front Panel—Internal and External Drive

Tray front door
: Attached to tray drawer.
•
Headphone jack
: Stereo mini-jack for headphones and powered speakers.
•
Volume control
: Controls volume of headphone jack. This control has no effect
on the rear panel audio outputs.
•
DISC indicator
: Green when disc is in the drive and power is ON.
•
ON/READ indicator
: Green when power is ON and no disc is in drive. Green
flashing when disc is being accessed.
•
WRITE L indicator
: Orange when recording CD-R discs at 1X, 2X, or 4X
speed.
