LOWERING THE IN-FEED RAILS
The in-feed rails containing the product conveying belts must be lowered to perform
certain maintenance procedures on the machine. This procedure must be followed in order
to prevent damage to the machine and injury to the service technician. The rails of the
MPS6100 may only be lowered while the machine is in a de-energized locked out state,
follow procedure 1.1.

1)
Once the machine has been locked out in a de-energized state it is now safe to
loosen off the two thumb screws shown in Figure #2.
2)
Hold the rail in position with one hand while loosening the thumb screws with the
other hand.
3)
Once both screws have been backed off completely, gently allow the rail to swing
down toward the stand.
