3.2.3
Capture mode
Please refer to 3.1.8 for the operational steps of capturing and saving images. Tap the
capture mode icon followed by one of the following three icons , , to change the
capture mode. The three capture modes are described in sections 3.2.3.1 through 3.2.3.3.
3.2.3.1
Picture mode
Pictures can be taken in either a non-radiometric jpeg format or radiometric JPEG format.
The radiometric format supports temperature examination and user annotations (voice
and written).
Still pictures can also be taken in interval mode where a series of images are
taken at a specified interval (see 3.2.3.3).

Video mode
Videos can be taken in either a non-radiometric mpeg format or radiometric lcvr format.
The radiometric format supports temperature examination and user annotations (voice
and written).
When recording radiometric video, the frame rate can be selected from 1 to 12
Hz.
