Videos can be taken in either a non-radiometric mpeg format or radiometric lcvr format
(see 3.2.3.2). The radiometric format supports temperature examination and user
annotations (voice and written).
When capturing still images, the touch screen button and physical button have
the same function;
When recording a non-radiometric mpeg video, the physical capture button
must be used to end the recording.
Note that non-radiometric file formats (jpeg and mpeg) are saved to the gallery
automatically after the capture button action is complete. Files in radiometric formats
require an additional save step after capture. To save the image or video as is, tap . To
annotate the image or video before saving, press the
icon and then perform one or
more steps:
•
Tap the icon to change global measurement settings (see 3.2.1);
•
Tap the icon to create or modify local measurement regions (see 3.2.2);
•
Tap the icon to change the thermal image display mode (see 3.2.4);
•
Tap the icon to record a voice annotation (see 4.3.1); Tap the icon to write a text
annotation (see 4.3.2).
Files saved in radiometric formats can also be analyzed, annotated and viewed
inside the image/video gallery using the icon (see 3.1.9).
3.1.9
Image/Video gallery
Tap the
icon to enter the image gallery. The left side of the image gallery shows
thumbnails of saved images and videos. Files are selected by tapping the thumbnail. The
file formats saved in the gallery can be identified by the names shown at the bottom of
the thumbnails. There are 4 types as follows:

Radiometric Image:
IR_NameBody.JPG
•
Non-Radiometric Image:
IMG_NameBody.jpg
•
Radiometric Video:
IRV_NameBody.lcrv
•
Non-Radiometric Video:
VD_NameBody.mp4
