2.4.2 Installation of the extractor hood

NSTALLATION STEPS
1.
Find a suitable position for the extractor hood.
2.
Measure and mark the positions of the four drill holes required (2 for the inner
chimney bracket and two for the housing of the extractor hood). Ensure that the
minimum distances are observed.
Note that the position of the screw holes for the fixing of the inner chimney bracket,
also represents the highest point of the entire chimney.
3.
For the fixing of the inner chimney bracket (

) and the housing of the appliance,
drill 4 holes (Ø 8 mm) in the wall. Insert the expansion dowels (
B
) into the four
drilled holes (

).
4.
For the fixing of the housing of the appliance, screw two screws (
D
/
4*30 mm
)
into the expansion dowels. Do not tighten the screws completely as you have to hang
the appliance on the screw heads. The screw heads
must have
a distance of
3 - 5
mm
to the wall.
5.
Fix the inner chimney bracket (

) on the wall using two screws (

).
