2. Installation
NOTICE!
Any damage caused by an appliance that is improperly installed
and improperly connected to the mains is not covered by the warranty or
guarantee.
We recommend carrying out the installation of the extractor hood by qualified
personnel. Damages caused by improper installation of the appliance are not subject
to the guarantee or warranty!
2.1 Important installation instructions: extraction mode
WARNING!
Do not lead the exhaust air into a chimney which is used for
extracting exhaust air of appliances operated by gas or other combustibles.

For extracting the exhaust air always observe the current legal regulations.

The diameter of the exhaust hose must meet the diameter of the connecting ring.
3.
If your appliance is equipped with a carbon filter, remove the carbon filter before
you operate the appliance in the extraction mode.
The carbon filter should be
used in the recirculating mode only.
