10 INSTALLATION
10.1 ASSEMBLY
ATTENTION
PRELIMINARY
INSPECTION
The pump must never be operated before the delivery and suction lines have been con-
nected.

Verify that all components are present. Request any missing parts from the manufacturer.
2 Check that the pump has not suffered any damage during transport or storage
3 Carefully clean the suction and delivery inlets and outlets, removing any dust or other
packaging material that may be present
4 Check that the electrical data corresponds to those indicated on the data plate
5 Always install in an illuminated area.
6 Install the pump at a height of min. 80 cm
ATTENTION THE MOTORS ARE NOT OF THE ANTI-EXPLOSIVE-TYPE.

For machine assembly and installation, always keep the same position indicated on the ex-
ploded diagram in this manual.
Take care to ensure that the unit is installed in a well-ventilated and illuminated environment.
Position the unit at a distance not exceeding 10 horizontal metres from the tank that needs
to be emptied
Position the unit at a height of 90 cm min. / 1.5 mt. max. from the ground, for easy use by
people of different heights.
Place a tank at the end of the delivery line to collect the used oil. There are no vertical or
horizontal restrictions on the position of this tank thanks to the presence of a non-return
valve.
Maintain a maximum height of 7 metres between the pump axis and the highest point of
the delivery hose.
10.2 HYDRAULIC CONNECTION
NOTE
Before connecting, make sure that the hoses and the suction tank are free of dirt and
thread residue, which could damage the pump and accessories.
Before connecting the delivery hose, partially fill the pump body with the liquid that needs
to be pumped (do not allow the pump to run dry during the priming stages).
ATTENTION Do not use conical threaded joints that could damage the threaded pump openings if
excessively tightened.
The MINIMUM recommended characteristics for hoses are as follows:
SUCTION HOSE -Minimum nominal diameter: 1/2”
-Nominal recommended pressure: 10 bar
-Use tubing suitable for functioning under suction pressure.
DELIVERY HOSE -Minimum nominal diameter: 3/4”
-Nominal recommended pressure: 10 bar
ATTENTION
It is the responsibility of the installer to provide the necessary line accessories to en-
sure the correct and safe operation of the pump. The accessories that are not suitable
to be used with the previously indicated material could damage the pump and/or cause
injury to persons, as well as causing pollution.
Loosening of the connections (threaded connections, flanges, gasket seals) could cause
serious ecological and safety problems. Check all the connections after the first installa-
tion and, subsequently, check on a weekly basis. If necessary, tighten all the connections.
