8.2 PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS
FOREWORD
It is important to remember that the performance of the unit depends on the following vari-
ables: - Temperature of the measured fluid; - Fluid type ; - System type
Below is a table with the performance of the unit, measured under optimal conditions (see reference points). The oil
considered for the measurements is of the type SAE 10 W40 at 24 °C

ATTENTION
To guarantee the performance shown in the table, the system must be set up according
to the following characteristics:
SUCTION HOSE
DELIVERY HOSE
LEVEL DIFFERENCES
Maximum length: 10 metres
Diameter: 1/2”

Maximum length: 50 metres
Diameter: 3/4”
Between pump and suction: from 1.5
to 3 metres max.
Between pump and highest point of
delivery: 7 metres max.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

TEMPERATURE
min. -10 °C / max +40 °C
RELATIVE HUMIDITY
max. 90%
ATTENTION
The temperature limits shown apply to the pump components and must be respected
to avoid possible damage or malfunction. It is understood, nevertheless, that for a given
oil, the real functioning temperature range also depends on the variability of the viscos-
ity of the oil itself with the temperature. Specifically:
• The minimum temperature allowed (-10°C) could cause the viscosity of some oils to greatly
exceed the maximum allowed, with the consequence that the static torque required dur-
ing the starting of the pump would be excessive, risking overload and damage to the pump.
• The maximum temperature allowed (+40°C) could, on the other hand, cause the vis-
cosity of some oils to drop well below the minimum allowed, causing a degradation in
performance with obvious reductions in flow rate as the back pressure increases.
9.2 ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY
NOTE
Depending on the model, the pump must be fed by single-phase alternating current whose
nominal values are those indicated in the Table of paragraph 8.1,
The maximum acceptable variations from the electrical parameters are:
V/- 5% of the nominal value
Fre/- 2% of the nominal value
ATTENTION
Power from lines with values outside the indicated limits can damage the electrical com-
ponents.
9.3 WORKING CYCLE
NOTE
The motors are intended for continuous use. Under normal operating conditions they can
function continuously with no limitations
9.4 PERMITTED AND NON-PERMITTED FLUIDS
PERMITTED
FLUDS
The unit can be used to transfer:
- lubricant oil for motors, - lubricant oil for gearboxes, - diesel oil according to EN590.
NON
PERMITTED
FLUIDS
- lubricant oil for brakes, - windscreen liquid. - anti-freeze fluid
ALL THE FLUIDS NOT MENTIONED IN "ADMITTED FLUIDS".
