Examples of problems that might occur while using the steam generator

Some problems may be easily removed on your own. Before you contact the service centre, see the table below for a possible 

solution to your problem with the unit. If the problem persists, contact the info line or your local service centre.

The appliance is not working.

The appliance heats up.

Wait till the appropriate temperature of appliance is 

reached.

The appliance is not connected 

to the power supply.

Connect  the  plug  to  the  power  supply.  Check 

the  connection  cable  and  the  plug  for  damage. 

If damaged - contact your service dept.

The  appliance  has  not  been 

switched  on  with 

the  on/off 

button

Press

  to  switch  on  the 

appliance.

The socket is damaged or there 

has been a power cut.

Make  sure  that  the  fuse  is  not  damaged  or  that 

the  automatic  fuse  is  not  switched  off.  If  they  are 

working  properly,  check  the  socket  by  connecting 

any other appliance to it. Connect the appliance to 

other power supply.

The  water  level  indicator 

  has  appeared  on  the  LCD 

display.

The water reservoir is empty.

Fill 

the water reservoir

Iron  baseplate  is  insufficiently 

heated.

Inadequate setting of the type of 

fabric and steam emission level.

Press 

the  fabric  and  steam  emission  selection 

button

 “ ” in order to adjust the type of fabric and 

steam emission level.

Water  is  leaking  from  iron  the 

baseplate.

The  selected  temperature  is 

too  low  or  the  selected  steam 

emission level is too high.

 or reduce the steam emission level.

The iron is not hot enough.

Before  turning  on  the  steam  verify  that  the  green 

status indicator is lighting.

The  pipe  condenses  water, 

steam  release  is  used  for  the 

first time or for a long time it has 

not been used.

Press the steam release button outside an ironing 

board and hold it pressed until the steam comes out 

in clouds from the iron.

Whitish water leaks through the 

steam holes in the ironing plate.

The  steam  generator  throws 

a  scale,  self-cleaning  was  not 

carried out regularly.

Perform self-cleaning procedure (see section “Self-

cleaning system”).

The  ironed  fabric  has  been 

damaged.

The temperature is too high.

Follow the clothing’s producer’s instructions. Check 

the symbols you see on the label. Do a test-ironing 

on the inner side of the clothing if you are not sure 

what type of fabric it is.

Cleaning and maintenance

 

Before cleaning, disconnect the steam station from the 

power outlet.

 

Use  a  damp  piece  of  clothing  that  will  not  cause  any 

scratches  in  order  to  remove  the  sediments  from  iron 

baseplate or casing.

 

Never use sharp or rough objects to remove sediments 

from iron baseplate.

 

Never use any abrasive materials, vinegar etc. to clean 

the iron.
