USB playback
Playing files stored on USB storage
devices
• This unit may not r ecognize a USB sto r age device, p lay
files o r su pp ly p owe r to a USB sto r age device. Fo r
details, see When a USB storage device is connected on
p age 36.
• Pionee r does not gua r antee that any file r eco r ded on a
USB sto r age device will p lay o r that p owe r will be
su pp lied to a USB sto r age device. Also note that Pionee r
will acce p t no r es p onsibility whatsoeve r fo r loss of files
on USB sto r age devices caused by connection to this
unit.
1 Press FUNCTION / to select USB as the
input source.
USB is shown on the main dis p lay.
2 Connect the USB storage device.
The folde r s/files sto r ed on the connected USB sto r age device
a pp ea r on the main dis p lay automatically.
3 Use
/
to select the file, then press
ENTER.
Playback sta r ts.
• To r etu r n to the pr evious sc r een, pr ess RETURN .
• Tu r n the p owe r off befo r e r emoving the USB sto r age
device.
You can p e r fo r m the following o p e r ations. Note that some
buttons a r e not available fo r o p e r ation de p ending on the
catego r y cu rr ently being p layed back.
When a USB sto r age device is not p laying and the unit has
not been o p e r ated fo r 30 minutes o r mo r e, the p owe r will
automatically tu r n off.

p lay back audio files. Note that some file ty p es may not be
dis p layed.
Button What it does

PLAY Un p auses p layback.

PAUSE Pauses p layback.

STOP Sto p s p layback.

PREV P r ess to ski p to the pr evious files.

NEXT P r ess to ski p to the next file.
SHUFFLE The cu rr ently selected t r acks a r e p layed back in
r andom o r de r (shuffle p lay).
REPEAT The cu rr ently selected t r acks a r e p layed back
r e p eatedly.

* P r ess r e p eatedly to switch between r e p eat p lay o p tions. ‘ ’
p lays the cu rr ently p laying file r e p eatedly. ‘ ’ p lays all the files
r e p eatedly.
