Usingsubwoofer output
This unit is equipped with a subwoofer output
which can be switched on or off. When a sub-
woofer is connected to this unit, turn the sub-
woofer output on.
The subwoofer output phase can be switched
between normal and reverse.
1 Use MULTI-CONTROL to select SW 1.
The function name tag

is highlighted.
2 Press MULTI-CONTROL to turn subwoo-
fer output on.
Sub. W Normal
appears in the display. Sub-
woofer output is now on.

select the phase of subwoofer output.

Note
When slope ofsubwoofer and high pass filter are

, and same cut-off frequency, the phase is
reversed 180 degrees at the cut-off frequency. In
this case, reversing the phase assures improved
sound continuity.
