RealMonitor Components
As shown in Figure 51, RealMonitor is split in to two functional components:
RMHost
This is located between a debugger and a JTAG unit. The RMHost controller,

Interface
(RDI) requests from the debugger into DCC-only RDI messages for the JTAG unit. For complete details on debugging

RMTarget
This is pre-programmed in the on-chip Flash memory (boot sector), and runs on the target hardware. It uses the EmbeddedICE
logic, and communicates with the host using the DCC. For more details on RMTarget functionality, see the
