Put the motor unit with the batteries
still attached in a bowl with one litre
water and 1 teaspoon salt.
leave the motor unit and the batteries in
the bowl for 24 hours.

Cut the wires to disconnect the
batteries.

Try to switch on the appliance again to
check if the batteries are really empty.
If the motor starts, repeat the whole
procedure.

Remove the metal cover with a
screwdriver.

Undo the two screws.

Remove the plastic cover.

To remove the batteries from the
housing, pull at the plastic loop that
sticks out from the inside of the
appliance.
