GUIDE Plus+ Setup
The GUIDE Plus+ system offers a free
interactive programme guide that lists all the TV
programmes available in your area.
Before you start, de
fi
ne your geographic
location and current setup devices to receive
the correct GUIDE Plus+ TV listings.

If you had selected to continue with the
GUIDE Plus+ setup, the basic setup menu
is displayed.
Follow the on-screen instructions.

Select the option and press
OK
.
[ Language ]
Select the language for on-screen display.
[ Country ]
Select the country of your residence.
[ Postal code ]
Enter your local postal code.
[ External Receiver 1 ], [ External
Receiver 2 ] or [ External Receiver 3 ]
Select the source for TV signals.
Notes
If your country is not in the displayed list or if you are
not able to receive TV listings data, you can still use
the GUIDE Plus+ system for manual recordings.
The postal code entered must be valid in the
identi
fi
ed country. Otherwise, incorrect TV listings
data will be received.
The [ Editor ] menu will be updated later when the
external receiver is selected as the source for TV
signals. See chapter ‘Use GUIDE Plus+ – Manage
your GUIDE Plus+ channels’.

[ Back ]
to return to the setup screen.

‘Setup’ allows you to define your language, country
and postal code and external receiver(s) details.

To specify the source and programme
number of a
GUIDE Plus+
host channel,
select
[ Host Channel Setup ]
and follow
the instructions to complete the setup.
The default host channel setup is set to
‘Automatic’.
