4. Also blow out the air filter housing with compressed air to remove
dirt particles.
5. Rubbing against the housing wall causes wear on the vanes.
6. Check the width of the vanes annually or after 3000 hours of
operation. They should be at least 12.5 mm wide.
7. When exchanging, blow out the housing with dry compressed air.
59.6 After performing maintenance
1. After maintenance has been completed, carry out the following
steps before switching on again:
2. Check that all previously loosened screw connections have
a tight fit.
3. Check that all previously removed protective devices and
covers have been properly reattached.
4. Ensure that all tools, materials and other equipment have been
removed from the work area.
5. Clean the work area and remove any traces of escaped
material (e.g. liquids, processing material etc.).
6. Ensure that all safety devices are functioning properly.
