Each power supply backplane has one, eight-position, slide-style switch consisting of eight single-pole
single-throw (SPST) switches numbered 1 through 8. Each power supply backplane supports two
power supplies. Figure 39 depicts the location of these switches and the dipswitch settings.
These dipswitches are set at the factory. Do not change the settings!
In the 512x512 and 1024x256 chassis, a power supply must be
populated in each Power Supply Bank, which is a minimum of three
power supplies. This is required for the monitoring of the cooling fan
system.
