CAUTION
• Improper installation condition may
cause the spare tyre to fall during
driving and may lead to accident.
• NGet assistance from an authorized
Perodua Service Centre if you have
problem to remove or reinstall the spare
tyre to the storage location.
Precautions for compact spare tyre
• Drive slowly on rough, unpaved roads or
over bumps to avoid severe shocks.
As the compact spare tyre has high air
pressure, it is prone to receive severe
shocks, resulting in wheel disk damage.
• The compact spare tire is smaller than the
standard tyre. Vehicle ground clearance
is reduced with the compact spare tyre
installed. Avoid driving over obstacles
and do not wash your vehicle through an
automatic car wash with a compact spare
tyre installed.
• Have the emergency spare tyre checked
at least once a month. Driving on an
emergency tyre with insufficient pressure
may result in an accident (the designated
tyre pressure is indicated at the front door).
Wheel nut wrench
Loosen the fixed bolt with a wheel nut wrench
until spare tyre carrier wobbles.
Hook Spare tyre carrier
Lift up the spare tyre carrier a little bit and
remove it off from the hook.
Slowly put the spare tyre carrier on the ground
and take out the spare tyre.
Install the spare tyre carrier back to the hook
and tighten the bolt.
Reverse the removal procedures to
reinstall.
NOTE
Ensure the wheel hub nut side of the spare
tyre is on top when storing it on the spare
tyre carrier.
