ICS master module

The wheelchair seat may be equipped with an ICS con-
trol system, and if so, the seat is controlled from the sys-
tem’s ICS master module. This is fitted in the wheelchair
chassis. See fig. 76.

CAUTION!
The ICS Master Module must be configured for the
seat before being fitted. Detailed information on
configuration is provided in the technical manual for
the ICS control system.
Removal

1. Raise the seat to the highest position. If the chassis is
equipped with fixed seat post, see
Seat height —
Fixed seat post , Page 96. If the seat lift does not work
normally because the batteries are discharged or the
actuator is defective, the seat can be raised/lowered
manually, see
Manual operation of Electric Seat lift ,
Page 41.
2. Switch off the main power switch on the control
panel.
3. Put the circuit breaker in the "OFF" position. It is ac-
cessed through a hole in the chassis cover. See fig.
78
Circuit breaker/Battery isolator. , Page 54.
4. Remove the seat lift cover and the chassis cover. See
Covers , Page 14.
5. Lift the ICS Master module out of its holder. See fig.
76.
6. Remove the lid from the ICS Master Module.
7. Clip the cable ties that hold the cables and its electri-
cal connections, being attentive to their placement to
facilitate subsequent refitting.
Assembly
Fit the ICS Master Module in the reverse order.
