Error Behaviour
"Maximum Position" Function
If the damping element is outside of the measuring range, but within the detection range (3),
the last measured position value from within the set measuring range is output. If the damping
element is outside of the detection range (1, 4), the parametrized value for I or U for the
maximum position (AD.SP2) is output.
AO: analog output in volts/mA
AD.SP1: position value range limit 1
AD.SP2: position value range limit 2
1: lower limit of detection range
2: no damping element detected
3: outside of the measuring range
4: upper limit of detection range
Note!

If no damping element has been measured after switching on the sensor, the
parameterized value for I or U for the maximum position (AD.SP2) is output.
■
AD.SP2 < AD.SP1 does not invert the properties. This can be set using the
Analog
Output
menu item.
