IO-Link Parameterization
Adjusting Switching Signal Channels/Switching Outputs
Figure 5.5
In the
Switching Signal Channel x
section, you can set the behavior of the respective binary
switching signal channel in the process data transfer as well as the available switching outputs
for certain product variants.
In doing so, you can set functions such as setpoints of switch points 1 and 2, switchpoint logic,
switchpoint mode, switchpoint hysteresis, window width, error behavior, delay settings, and
output type (only for switching output).
As standard, all product variants of the PMIxxx-F90-...-IO-... have 3 switching signal channels.
These are visible in the process data. Depending on the product variants, some are available
as switching outputs, from 0 to 3 switching outputs according to the product variant. The
information "(only IO-Link)" states that the switching signal channel is only intended for process
data transfer and has no switching output. In this case, the adjustment option "Output Qx
Configuration" is not available.
