Adjusting Switching Signal Channels/Switching Outputs

In the 

Switching Signal Channel x

 section, you can set the behavior of the respective binary 

switching signal channel in the process data transfer as well as the available switching outputs 
for certain product variants.

In doing so, you can set functions such as setpoints of switch points 1 and 2, switchpoint logic, 
switchpoint mode, switchpoint hysteresis, window width, error behavior, delay settings, and 
output type (only for switching output).

As standard, all product variants of the PMIxxx-F90-...-IO-... have 3 switching signal channels. 
These are visible in the process data. Depending on the product variants, some are available 
as switching outputs, from 0 to 3 switching outputs according to the product variant. The 
information "(only IO-Link)" states that the switching signal channel is only intended for process 
data transfer and has no switching output. In this case, the adjustment option "Output Qx 
Configuration" is not available.
