With keys (16) or (17) set the number in tens of maximum pressure value of the air compressor
(normally 0). Confirm by pressing key (18) . The cursor will change position depending on the number
of units involved. With keys (16) or (17) set the number of maximum pressure units (in BARs)
assigned to the air compressor.
Press key (18) and set the pressure decimal value always confirming with key (18) In the case
of this example it is for 5.8 BARs (normally 0.3 to 1.0 lower than the value assigned to pump 1).

Chap. 8 - UNITS WITH PERIODIC AUTOTEST
When it is foreseen that a compression unit may stay inactive for long periods during which the pump will never be
started up and to avoid inconvenient working due to the inactivity (weld, mechanic seal, etc..) it is advisable to provide
the machine with devices for the periodic starting of the pump and for the signaling of possible damages.
These additionally have the followings devices:
1) weekly planner
2) solenoid valve
3) automatic pressure switch
4) acoustic alarm
Description of the operation
The weekly planner is added to the switchboard and programmed so that the time of the day and week are preset and
hence the program for the startup of sequential pumping is enabled in the following order:
solenoid valve opens and pump n.1 is started; after one minute the solenoid valve closes and the pump stops. If the
pump doesn’t work correctly, the opening of the solenoid valve gives rise to a circuit pressure lowering and the automatic
pressure switch, which closes its contact after the delay time is set, enabling the anomaly sequence: the acoustic
alarm rings and the following message appears on the keyboard display:

the red led (4)
flashes and the pumps are started one by one. If the circuit pressure returns to normal values
the pumps are stopped, the acoustic alarm is automatically sounded off, the display returns to present the circuit
pressure, the red led (4) continues to flash to emphasize the fact that one of the unit pumps does not
work regularly. To turn off the red led (4) , press key (18) up to when the red led is not turned on
(5) , still press key (18) up to when the green led is turned on (6)
