USE
Use of the ceramic hob
switching on
Place a pan on a cooking zone and turn the control knob to the desired
setting.
The cooking zone will then heat up. The cooking zone switches on and
off automatically to provide the power you have set. At lower settings
the cooking zone is off for a long time and on from time to time. At
higher settings the cooking zone is on for a long time and off from time
to time.
Switching off
Turn the knob to the zero position.
Switching on the double-ring cooking zone
Turn the adjusting knob to the maximum setting (hard against the stop)
and then choose a setting.
The two cooking zones will now always give off heat together.
Switching off
Turn the adjusting knob to the zero position.
Next time you switch the cooking zone on again only the inner cooking
zone will come on.
You can never use the outer cooking zone on its own.
Residual heat indicator
• After intensive use of a cooking zone, the cooking zone can stay
hot for some minutes.
• As long as the cooking zone is hot, the display will show a ‘circle’.
