by a wiping cloth,.
Clean the clogged apertures of the nozzles by a copper soft wire with appropriate diameter (max 0,45 mm).
Warning: Cleaning of the ignition plug is prohibited ! ! !
Check the fastening of the fuel nozzles and their locking.
Check individually the function of the temperature transmitters (16) - see Fig.No.10 – by warming the end of
the transmitter (thermocouple). Monitor the response on a DC millivoltmeter connected to the CH – A cable
sockets of the compensatory leads. Broken sensor replace for a new from set of spare parts 1:1.
If that is not available for exchange the new transmitter is allowed operation with two functional transmitters.
Replacements of a defective transmitter is to be carried out in the shortest possible time.
Mount back the combustion chamber, tighten the bolts (10) with torque of 4
+1
Nm and secure them with
binding wire.
In case of need use new bolts and washers from the set of replacement parts 1:1.
Check the condition of the blades of the guide wheel (13) and the II. stage impeller wheel (14) of the turbine.
Any deformations and damages of blades are impermissible.
Check the condition of the internal area of the Turbine Casing (15). Clean any possible dirt by a wiping cloth.
If any foreign matter is detected, it is necessary to perform compressor overhaul with attendance of the
production plant service crew.
Control the deposition Guide Wheel (13) with a 1st stage of Guide Wheel. Guide Wheel (13) must freely slip
by grooves in the outer rim on the 1 st stage Guide Wheel pins.
Push the Guide Wheel 13 all the way towards to the compressor and hand check the rotation of the rotor. The
rotor must be rotate easily without scrubbing symptoms.
Mount the fuel ramp with the combustion chamber and exhaust cone back to APU. Pay greater attention to the
gasket rings (17) on the drainage packing (18). If a permanent deformation and loss of flexibility is discovered
during the check of the gasket ring (17) on the drainage packing (18), it is necessary to replace the gasket ring
with a new one, which is listed in the assembly replacement parts 1:1 under identification 81065.13. Mount
the bolts (4, screwed fitting of return fuel piping (6) and drainage valve (5) with sealing washers (19) and
secure them with binding wire. ) Tightening torque - see article 4.9.
