After two minutes of running at idle, make new check of the magnetic plugs. After that plugs mount back and
secure by binding wire.
In case repeat of the chips occurrence is necessary to terminate the operation of the APU and make an entry in
the log-book.
Following works is necessary to perform in case of flange leaking between Fuel Ramp (8) and Exhaust Cone (3)
(related to Fig. 10):
Tighten properly and secure by binding wire the screws (10) on the fuel ramp.
NOTICE:
At carrying out routine periodic of APU checks as described under this document is not
performed removal of the exhaust cone.
4.8.4.
Inspection of Fuel Filter in Block of Filter and Servo
Inspection is performed according to the following procedures:

Remove the binding wire.
Screw off the filter body (1) from the Block of Filter and Servo (5).
Remove the filter element (2);
Clean the filter element in clean petrol using a soft brush and dry it by compressed air.
NOTE:
It is recommended to clean the filter element in ultrasonic washer filled with clean petrol or
aviation petroleum.
Clean the filter body with petrol.
Lubricate the packing rings (3,4) with the APU operating oil.
If the packing rings are defective, it is permitted to use rings from the set of replacement parts for the device.
Assemble the cleaner in reverse sequence and secure it with binding wire.
WARNING:
It is necessary to take care, so that the element and the internal area of the devices would not get
dirty during the handling of the device.
4.8.5.
Inspection of the Return Fuel Filter
Inspection is performed according to the following procedures:
(The description is related to Fig.13)
Remove the binding wire and screw off the filter element (1) from the body (2).
Wash the filter element in clean petrol by a soft brush and purge by compressed air.
NOTE:
It is recommended to rinse the element in ultrasonic washer filled with clean petrol or aviation petroleum.
Lubricate the packing rings (3) and (4) with APU operating oil.
If the packing rings are defective, it is permitted to use rings from the set of replacement parts for the device
Screw the clean filter element back into the filter body and secure it with binding wire.
WARNING:
It is necessary to take care, so that the element and the internal area of the device would not get soiled
during the handling of the device.
