vertical terminations

When two (2) or more direct vent
appliances are vented near each
other, each appliance must be
individually vented (see Figure 41).

WARNING!!! NEVER common

vent or breach vent this appliance to
avoid possibility of severe personal
injury, death, or substantial property
damage.

When two or more direct vent
appliances are vented near each
other, two vent terminations may be
installed as shown in Figure 41. It is
important that vent terminations be
made as shown to avoid recirculation
of fl ue gases.
