TESTING THE SAFETY VALVE
Switch on the compressor. When pres-
surized, pull the ring of the safety
valve
18
until you hear air escaping.
Do not use the compressor, if air leaks
after the ring has been released or if
the valve is stuck and cannot be actu-
ated by the ring.
DRAW OUTPUT PRESSURE
1
The set pressure is shown on the pres-
sure gauge
3
.
Connect the coupling of the compressed-
air hose with the fast coupling of the air
outlet
5
until the securing sleeve juts out
and a snap-in sound will be heard.
OIL CHANGE
Make sure, the compressor is switched
off. Release any residing pressure
through attached tool.
Put a container under the oil drain
valve
12
. Rotate the drain screw slowly
counter-clockwise and release all oil.
Close drain valve.
1
DRAIN PRESSURE TANK
2
Put a container under the condensation
drain valve
10
. Rotate the drain screw
slowly and release the condensation
water. Reattach screw. Dispose of the
drained condensate and oil in compli-
ance with local regulations.
Have the safety valve replaced at your
HORNBACH-Store.
Warning!
Check every 50 work
hours whether the safety valve is
still functioning correctly. Use of a com-
pressor with defective safety valve can re-
sult in death or serious personal injury.
2
DRAW TANK PRESSURE
The tank pressure is shown on the pres-
sure gauge
4
.
Connect the coupling of the com-
pressed-air hose with the fast coupling
of the air outlet
7
until the securing
sleeve juts out and a snap-in sound will
be heard.
SETTING THE OUTPUT PRESSURE
Turn the pressure regulator
6
to set
pressure. Wait until pressure gauge
3
shows desired pressure.
Warning!
Do not exceed the pres-
sure given in the manual of the con-
nected tool or inflatable equipment.
FILLING IN OIL
Make sure, the compressor is switched
off and the compressed air released.
Remove oil sealing plug from the fill-
