SETTING THE TIME
– HOME TIME
The reference time for your watch is the time at
home. To set the time, first actuate one of the cor-
rection pushers or as many times as needed to
superpose the skeletonized and solid hour hands
and to display the same color in the day/night indi-
cator apertures (HOME) and (LOCAL) . Now,
unscrew the crown completely, pull it gently all the
way out and move the hands in either direction. The
day/night indicator in the aperture (HOME) lets
you check whether you have set the correct time
(white = from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.; blue = from 6 p.m. to
6 a.m.). Once you have set the correct time, push the
crown home again and screw it down.
DISPLAY OF A SECOND
TIME ZONE – LOCAL TIME
Before you set a second time zone , check the day/
night indicator (HOME) to make sure that the
two superposed hour hands indicate the correct time
at home and that the day/night indicator correctly
displays daytime or nighttime hours, for instance
8 a.m. or 8 p.m.
To set the local hour hand to display a second time
zone, follow these steps:
- If you are traveling eastbound, press the correc-
tion pusher at 8 o’clock to move the solid hand
clockwise by as many hours as the two time zones
are apart (press once = +1 hour).
- If you are traveling westbound, press the cor-
rection pusher at 10 o’clock to move the solid
hand counterclockwise by as many hours as the
two time zones are apart (press once = -1 hour).
