Connect Cash Drawer Cable to POS
Install K1056 Cash Drawer Bracket (Optional)
Each cash drawer will be mounted in the K1056 cash drawer brackets. Follow the instructions included
in the cash drawer bracket kit. Before installing, ensure the underside of the counter top is a smooth,
flat surface. If it is not, the cash drawer may experience operational issues.

Locate the cable that is packaged with the cash drawer box, part number C3506.

Turn the cash drawer over and connect the DB9 end of the cash drawer cable to the cash
drawer.

Turn the cash drawer upright and install the drawer in its permanent mounting location.
4.
Connect the end of the cash drawer cable labeled RJ-11/12 to the cash drawer port labeled
CD1 on the main cable well of the POS terminal. The CD1 port is highlighted in Figure 27.
