4.2 Assembly of the corner posts and end boards

The head or foot board should be placed into the retaining clips A on the cot chassis and then when inserting
the corner post, the board should be located inside, and held at the top corners by, retaining clips B

Each corner post must be fully inserted into the bracket and securely fixed with the two bolts supplied

Please note that the corner posts are different designs for the 4-door type or the full drop-down side options.

Each side option will be supplied complete with the 2 appropriate corner posts.
4.3 The drop- down side rail

The drop
–down side rail should be held in the closed position by ensuring that the side is fully raised and that the
lower side lugs are located and seated securely in the holder A at each side, at the bottom of each corner upright.

The side rail can be lowered by lifting the lower lugs out of the holders and carefully letting the rail slide down the
side runners. The side runners will move out slightly to allow a more vertical position of the side rail.

The side rail can quickly and easily be completely removed by lowering it fully and then lifting the upper lugs out of
the holder A at the bottom corner of each uprights
