User Management
The AT-UHD-SW-51 allows the administrator password to be changed. The password applies to both the web server
and Telnet sessions. Note that the
Username
field cannot be changed. All users have the same level of access to
control the AT-UHD-SW-51. However, only the
root
user is allowed to manage other users. Up to three additional
users can be created.
1.
Login to the web server. Refer to
Introduction to the Web Server (page 38)
. The default username and
password are listed below:

root
Password:
Atlona
2. Click
Config
in the menu bar.
3. Click the
Password
field and enter the current password.
4. Enter the new password in the
Password
field, under the
New user name and password
section.
5. Enter the same password in the
PW again
field. Passwords must adhere to the following requirements:
Changing the Administrator Password
•
Passwords must contain 5 - 20 characters.
• Only a combination of uppercase, lowercase, and numeric characters are supported.
•
No special characters are permitted, except “-” (dash), “.” (period), and “_” (underscore).
•
Passwords must include one uppercase, one lowercase, and one numeric character.
NOTE:
Password fields will always be masked for security purposes.
