Setup and connection of speakers
Preparation
Attach the stickers to the speaker cables.
≥
In the same way, attach the sticker to the front speaker cable (R)
and the surround speaker cables (L, R).
Preparation
Check to make sure the washer screws on the bottom of the front
and surround speaker bases are not loose.
Positioning for best effect
How you set up your speakers can affect the bass and the sound
field. Note the following points.
≥
Place the front, center, and surround speakers at
approximately the same distance from the seating position.
The angles in the diagram below are approximate.
≥
Place speakers on flat secure bases.
≥
Placing speakers too close to floors, walls, and corners can result
in excessive bass. Cover walls and windows with thick curtains.
[Note[
≥
Set the speakers up on an even surface to prevent them from
falling over. Take proper precautions to prevent the speakers from
falling over if you cannot set them up on an even surface.
≥
The left and right speaker pairs are the same with respect to the
front and surround speakers. Place each of the speakers in
accordance with the stickers you just attached.
≥
Before moving the main unit, ensure the disc tray is empty.
Failure to do so will risk severely damaging the disc and the main
unit.
