Beef and Vegetable Stir Fry
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
1 lb (450 g)
beef sirloin steak

vegetable stock
1 tbsp
cornstarch
1 tsp
sugar

beef bouillon cube
1 tbsp
soy sauce or magi
sauce
1 clove
garlic,
minced
4 green
onions,
sliced
2 stalks
celery,
sliced
8 mushrooms,
sliced
1 green
or
red
pepper,
sliced
4 cups
spinach, shredded
Method:
Beef may be partially frozen to make
cutting easier. Cut meat across grain
in 4 ×

inch (10 × 1 cm) strips. In a
3-quart bowl with lid, combine beef,
vegetable stock, cornstarch, sugar, and
bouillon. Cover and cook at

for 2
minutes. Stir, cover and cook at
P4
for
3 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients,
except spinach. Cover and cook at

for 7 minutes, or until ingredients are
tender. Add spinach and cook at

for 4 minutes. Serve over rice or

Lasagna
Serves: 4 to 6
Ingredients:
8 sheets (250 g) precooked lasagna
noodles

cheese (extra)
Meat Sauce:

ground beef

tomato purée
5 oz (140 g)
tomato paste
Cheese Sauce:
4 tbsp
butter

milk
1 oz (30 g)
parmesan cheese
1 oz (30 g)
grated mozzarella
cheese
pinch

nutmeg
ground black pepper
Method:
Place all meat sauce ingredients into
a 3-quart casserole dish and mix
well. Place casserole dish on Glass
Tray. Cover and cook on
P7
for 25 to
30 minutes, stirring halfway through
cooking. Drain off fat and set aside.
Melt butter in a 2-quart glass bowl
on
P10
for 20-30 seconds. Add
milk, stirring and cook on
P10
for
2 minutes, stirring again halfway
through cooking. Add cheeses,

our,
nutmeg, and pepper, and mix well.
Cook on
P10
for 30 seconds at a time
whisk well, until the sauce thickens.
Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Coat
the base of 2-quart glass dish with the
meat sauce, and arrange a layer of
noodles, then a layer of meat sauce.
Continue with a layer of noodles
then meat sauce. Spread cheese
sauce evenly and sprinkle with extra
parmesan and mozzarella cheese.
Place lasagna onto Metal Pan in
oven into the rails and cook at 350°F
(180°C) for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve
hot with a green salad and garlic
bread.
