Do not disclose passwords.

Change passwords periodically.

Use long and random passwords.

Inform the customer of the importance of password security and the possible dangers if passwords become
known to others.

Change the default System Administrator password the first time you access the VPS via KX-TVA
Maintenance Console. The default password can be changed by running the Quick Setup utility (see
6.1.2 Quick Setup) or by selecting System Security
®
Administrator

Password.

Do not forget the System Administrator password. The VPS must be reset to its factory defaults and
reprogrammed if the System Administrator password is forgotten.
