Conditions
[APT + SLT]
•
If one telephone goes off-hook while the other is on a call, a three-party call is established. If one user
goes on-hook, the other user continues the call.
•
An extension user cannot originate a call from the SLT if the APT is:
–
playing background music (BGM)
–
receiving a paging announcement over the built-in speaker.
•
For users in Germany and Austria only
Although the APT will ring for incoming calls, the SLT will not ring.
For users in other countries/areas
Both the APT and the SLT will ring for incoming calls, and the PBX cannot refuse calls arriving at the
SLT.
[DPT + SLT]
•
It is programmable whether to have the DPT and SLT in either parallel or XDP mode. Regardless of the
mode, the SLT can be connected directly to the XDP port of the DPT or to a modular T-adapter with the
DPT.
•
When in parallel mode, it is programmable whether the SLT rings for incoming calls.
Ring on:
Both telephones ring except when the PT is in Hands-free Answerback mode (
→
Hands-free Answerback) or voice-calling mode (Alternate Receiving Ring/Voice) (
→
Ring off:
Only the PT rings. However, the SLT can answer the call.
•
Both telephones cannot engage in calls simultaneously. If one telephone goes off-hook while the other
is on a call, the call is switched to the former. The call is not switched in the following cases:
a)
While being monitored by another extension. (

b)
While receiving OHCA (
→
1.7.4.3 Off-hook Call Announcement (OHCA)) or Whisper OHCA. (

c)
During a Conference call (

d)
While Live Call Screening (LCS) or Two-way Record is activated (
