Open the printer front door.

The fuser is hot; to avoid personal injury, turn off the printer and wait 10 minutes (after
opening the front door) for the fuser unit to cool before touching it.

Check whether the media is jammed under the color imaging unit.
If the media jam is not found, go to next step.
•
If the media is jammed,
(a) Remove it by following the steps 1 to 4 in “Jam at B in the media tray” on
page 15
.
(b) To clear the error message “Jam at C”, slide out the fuser unit (see steps 3 and 4 on
page 18
), then slide it back to the printer and secure it.
