Battery Backup Function:

Mid-Range BIOS supports the Battery Backup Function.

- BIOS

can

enable/disable

the Battery at POST.

- BIOS can inform the OS about AC Power Failure when Battery is enabled. See Battery Configuration

described below in detail.

LCD size and resolution auto-detection:

BIOS can detect the main LCD unit size and its resolution at boot, then can fit the size of display into the

physical monitor size.

CMOS Error Recovery:

When CMOS error occurs at POST, automatically “Optimal Default” settings is loaded and then try to reboot.

UTR (UpTime Record) :

BIOS can record the “uptime” of the main board into EEPROM on the main board. It’s recorded as

incremented value (the unit is one hour) per an hour whilst BIOS is working
