11.2 Document jams (Automatic

Caution:

Do not pull out the jammed document forcibly
before lifting the ADF cover.

Open the ADF cover (

) while holding the
document cover (

).

When the document has jammed near the
document entrance:
Remove the jammed document (

) carefully.
When the document has jammed near the
document exit:
Open the document tray (

) and remove the
jammed document (

) carefully.

Close the ADF cover.

Press

}
to clear the message.
