Problems with Sound

Try changing the mute by pressing the

key or the

key.

With the following procedure, check that the Windows sound function is operating.
(If it is not operating, pressing the

key or the

key displays the pop-up

window shown on the left, but there is no sound.)

Click [start] - [Control Panel] - [Performance and Maintenance] - [System] -
[Hardware] - [Device Manager].

Double-click [Sound, video, and game controllers] and check if is displayed.
If is displayed, click the driver for which is shown, press the

Del

key, and

click [OK] in the confirm deletion screen. Then restart the computer.

Press the

key (to lower the volume) or the

key (to increase the volume).

During audio playback, operating a key with the

key may cause distortion of the

sound. Stop playing and start again.
