Colour phase adjustment
The colour phase adjustment must be performed if the
pictures are to be switched using a video switcher or other
device when the video output signals have been set as
composite signals.
It need not be performed when the video output signals
have been set as component signals.
The camera’s colour phase is aligned with the programme
output (split colour bar output) signals of a colour special
effect device or other colour tones that will serve as the
reference.
(The colour phase can be adjusted more accurately if a
vectorscope is used for the adjustment.)

Press the [MODE] button.
The mode is switched to the colour bar display.

Follow the operation steps in “Basic
operations” (page 31) to display the Top Menu.

The “Coarse” or “Fine” value starts blinking.

“Coarse” or “Fine” value of “Subcarrier
Phase”, adjust the value so that the colour
phase is brought into alignment, and press the
[
] button.

Press the [MENU] button for 2 seconds.
The menu display is exited.

Press the [MODE] button.
The mode is switched to the camera picture display.
