This selects the VTR mode in which the EE
status is established when the MODE switch
is set to EE.

This selects the EE mode output signals.

Signals are output with a delay equivalent to
the length of internal signal processing.

THRU :
Signals are output directly, without internal
processing, and so are output with no delay.
<Note>
When the unit is in edit mode and 1394 or SG
has been selected for the input signals by the
INPUT SELECT button, internal operations are
forcibly set to NORMAL.
