Quick Guide
Insert the Battery Pack
Insert Cassette

Insert the Battery Pack
and slide
it down until it locks with a click.

Press LCD-OPEN
to unlock the LCD
monitor, and
swing it fully open.

Slide TAPE EJECT
to
open the Cassette
Compartment Cover.
Before you begin
• Charge the Battery. (p. 9)

Set POWER to ON
while pressing
the white button.
• The POWER Lamp lights red.

Insert a cassette
record tab up, window
side facing out.
• Make sure the record
tab is closed. (p. 6)

Press PUSH CLOSE

to close the
Cassette Compartment
Cover.
WARNING:
• Do not lift, or carry, this unit by the
LCD Monitor.
CAUTION:
To protect the VTR and tapes, avoid use in dusty and dirty locations.
It is also recommended that the unit be used with the LCD closed.
(It is possible to close the LCD with the display facing into the unit or away from the
unit.)
