your new PALSON HOTNESS kettle.
Important
- Read these instructions thoroughly before using the kettle for the first time.
- Before plugging in the kettle, be sure that the voltage indicated on the identification plate corresponds to the
power supply voltage.
- Only connect the appliance to a grounded outlet.
- The kettle has an automatic switch to protect against hazards caused by operating with insufficient water.
This cuts off power when the thermal element is heated too much.
- If the kettle has no water temporarily, it will temporarily stop functioning. Disconnect the wall outlet network
connection and then pour enough cold water in the thermal element and connect it again.
- Put the heater on a flat and stable surface. Be sure that the heater is not submerged in water or other
liquids.
- Discard the boiled water the first time it is used in this kettle. Then the appliance will be ready for use.
- Do not use the kettle without its cover closed firmly.
- The heater will be turned off automatically when the water boils. The kettle can be turned off automatically
before the water boils, using the operating/stop switch.
- First fill the kettle and later close the cover firmly after plugging it in.
- Only use the kettle to heat water.
- This product is not permitted for unassisted or unsupervised use by children or others whose physical,
sensory, or mental state limits them from using it safely. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the product.
- Do not fill the kettle with too much water, it could overflow with pressure. Do not fill it above the MAX mark
or below the MIN mark.
- Do not touch the kettle’s hot surfaces or allow your hand to come in contact with the steam in the cover’s
opening, especially when hot water is involved.
- This appliance only works with the base/supplied power stand.
- Before cleaning it, disconnect it from the outlet and let it cool. Do not put the kettle in water or another liquid
under any circumstances.
- If the electric cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer, its authorized technical service or
a qualified technician, with the goal of avoiding a hazard.
- When you are no longer going to use this product, recycle it so it can be discarded pursuant to local
regulations.
- This device is intended for household use and for use in similar areas such as reserved cooking areas,
offices, lodges in farms, hotels, and residential areas in general.
- This product is equipped with a filter to avoid micro-particles and an excess of lime from coming out of the
container.
- Do not boil the same water in the unit several times. It is preferable to change the water and boil it again.
- To open the cover, push the button (7) softly which is located on the upper part of the kettle.
Filling
- Open the cover and fill the jug
- Do not fill it under the MIN level.
- Do not fill it over the MAX level (1.5 liters).
- Do not forget to close the cover firmly after filling it.
On
- Connect the power connection to a wall outlet.
- Press the operating/stop switch to boil. The pilot light will turn on when the button is in position “I”.
Warning: Do not open the cover while the water is boiling. There is a danger of burns.
